Itinerary

  • Day 1 – Huskies, Reindeer & Arctic Traditions

    Starting 8.30AM
    Your adventure begins with a pickup from your accommodation and transfer to a traditional husky and reindeer farm. Upon arrival, you will be introduced to the friendly huskies and learn about their lives, training, and role in Lapland's culture.

    After the introduction, enjoy a short husky sled ride through the snowy surroundings. Following the ride, you will have time to meet the dogs, take photographs, and enjoy warm berry juice.

    Next, a delicious lunch will be served at the farm before continuing to the reindeer experience. Your guide will share stories about reindeer herding and Arctic traditions before you enjoy a short reindeer sleigh ride. After the ride, warm drinks will be served before returning to Rovaniemi.

  • Day 2 – Ice Fishing & Snowmobile Safari

    Start your day with one of Finland's most beloved winter traditions: ice fishing. Together with your guide, you will travel to a frozen lake where you will learn how to drill a hole through the ice and try your luck catching fish.

    Your guide will share insights into Finnish outdoor traditions and explain the importance of ice fishing in local culture. Whether you catch a fish or simply enjoy the peaceful Arctic surroundings, this is a truly authentic Lapland experience.

    After the ice fishing activity, you will have free time before the evening adventure begins.

    In the afternoon, you will be transferred to our snowmobile base near Santa Claus Village. After receiving winter equipment and a safety briefing from your guide, it is time to start your snowmobile adventure through Lapland's snowy wilderness.

    During the safari, a short break will be made to enjoy warm berry juice and traditional Finnish gingerbread cookies before continuing the journey. After returning to the base, you will change back into your own clothing and be transferred back to your accommodation.

    Ice Fishing Duration: Approximately 2 hours

    Snowmobile Safari Duration: Approximately 3 hours including transfers and preparations

  • Day 3 – Ranua Wildlife Park Excursion

    On the final day, enjoy a guided excursion to the famous Ranua Wildlife Park, located approximately one hour from Rovaniemi.

    Upon arrival, your guide will lead you through the park and introduce you to a wide variety of Arctic animals, including wolves, lynxes, moose, owls, and the park’s most famous resident, the polar bear.

    Halfway through the visit, you will gather around a campfire to enjoy traditional outdoor snacks including sausages, marshmallows, cookies, and warm drinks while surrounded by the peaceful Arctic forest.

    After completing the wildlife park tour, there will be free time to visit the popular Fazer shop before beginning the return journey to Rovaniemi.

    Upon arrival, we will thank you for joining us and conclude this unforgettable three-day Lapland adventure.

Important information

Husky Safari Information.

  • Not recommended for pregnant women.
  • Children ride in the same sled with adults (maximum 2 adults and 2 children per sled).

Snowmobile Information

  • Drivers must be at least 18 years old and hold a valid driving license.
  • A physical valid driving license must be carried during the activity.
  • Snowmobiles are shared by two participants.
  • Driving time is approximately 1 hour.
  • Solo driving is available for an additional €50.
  • Children aged 2–13 ride in a 6-seat sled behind the guide’s snowmobile.
  • Children over 140 cm may ride behind an adult according to operational conditions.
  • No driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

    General Information

  • In case of snowmobile damage, the maximum personal liability is €1000 per driver.
  • The liability can be reduced to €300 with an additional payment of €20 per driver.
