Terms and conditions
These terms apply to all individual travelers on safaris and excursions organized by Lapland Royal Adventures Ltd.
Cancellation of the reservation
Less than 24 hours before the safari starts – 100% from the total amount will be charged.
All cancellation requests are to be received and approved by Lapland Royal Adventures Ltd. via e-mail or customer portal within the office hours in Finland (Mon-Fri at 9-18, GMT +2).
Changes
All changes are to be received and approved by Lapland Royal Adventures Ltd. via e-mail or Lapland Royal Adventured customer portal latest 24 hours before the safari starts.
Refund policy
Refunds are proceeded to same credit card or bank account used for the first payment. Delay in refunds may occur in case of high demand of cancellations.
Full refund (100%) is provided whether Lapland Royal Adventures Ltd. cancels a service.
No refunds will be made for any unused services, late arrival, or no-show of any participants of the activity.
In case of illness
In case of illness, normal cancellation policy applies. Please make sure you have a valid travel insurance.
Complaints
All comments and complaints related to the quality of the services must be presented with no delay when the grounds for complaint occur and directly to Lapland Royal Adventures Ltd. via email. If the customer has not been in contact with Lapland Royal Adventures within 14 days after the delivery of the service, the customer loses the right to any compensation.
Lapland Royal Adventures Ltd. has a binding term of 30 working days to handle the complaint from the date this has been presented to Lapland Royal Adventures Ltd.
Grounds of compensation
Grounds of compensation are assessed separately based on the service booked.
Delays in the activities are source of partial compensation (25% of the activity price) if the delay exceeds 90 minutes from the official starting time of the activity.
Information concerning the time spent on the husky & reindeer sleigh ride programs are given for information purpose only and cannot be considered contractual or grounds of compensation.
The Northern Lights are an unpredictable natural phenomenon and evening safaris are made to give the customer a chance to observe them. If northern lights are not seen during the safaris, this is not considered as ground of compensation unless the product description has specifically specified the guarantee.
Data protection
Traveler’s personal data is processed according to the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR),

Pregnancy
Lapland Royal Adventures Ltd. does not recommend use of the snowmobile or sitting in a sledge pulled by the snowmobile for pregnant women. Driving generates vibration depending on trail conditions which can be harmful. If the program requires special organisation (e.g. additional transport), client is responsible for the possible extra costs.
Others
Lapland Royal Adventures Ltd. with holds the right:
• to change the prices in the event of a general change of taxes or similar prices beyond its control
• to change the timetables or contents of the activities due to disadvantageous weather conditions
• to cancel any service in case of an unavoidable and extraordinary circumstances prevailing. In such case
Lapland Royal Adventures Ltd aims to provide the customer information on cancellation without delay and provide the customer a full refund, but no additional compensation.
• Force Majeure: Lapland Royal Adventures Ltd. has right to charge maximum 250 € office fee
• Snowmobiling deductible reduction is max. 1000 €/person/snowmobile/case of accident. All participants must sign a form where they confirm their understanding of deductible reduction and agree to this policy. By purchasing a 20 € self-liability insurance before the start of the safari, the amount of self-liability is reduced down to max. 300€/person/snowmobile/case of accident. Deductible reduction insurance is personal and valid in one snowmobile safari.
