Show reviews
Come and enjoy the journey into the Arctic night, in search of something that can’t be booked, timed, or controlled: the Northern Lights.
On this 3-hour adventure, we leave Rovaniemi behind and head into the quiet, open spaces of Lapland — guided by professional guides, real-time forecasts and sense of Nordics.
It’s part science, part luck and a little bit of magic. Our minibus takes you to the best spots and if the auroras dance, we’ll be ready. If they don't, you'll still be away from the City chaos and can enjoy the Arctic at its best. We also prepare sausage bbq by the open fire during our trip
Silence, fresh air and the feeling of living something real.

Frequently asked about snowmobile safaris
Are there toilet facilities during the Northern Lights tour?
At the beginning of the evening, it is usually possible to find an open service station or similar facilities along the route where a toilet stop can be made. However, it is important to note that later in the night, or in the remote areas where we travel to see the Northern Lights, there are no open public toilets or regular stops available. In those cases, we may need to use nature as a restroom if necessary.
What should I wear for a Northern Lights tour?
We recommend dressing according to the weather and wearing warm winter clothing in layers. While our vehicles are heated and provide a comfortable place to warm up during the tour, we will also spend time outdoors while searching for and viewing the Northern Lights. Warm winter boots, gloves, a hat, and insulated outerwear are highly recommended to ensure you stay comfortable throughout the experience.
Are photos included in the tour?
Professional photography is included in our Guarantee Northern Lights Trip Pro experience. Photos are taken with professional camera equipment and delivered within one week after the tour via a download link sent to your email.
For other tours, photos may also be available if photography has been conducted during the activity. In such cases, photo packages can be purchased afterwards for an additional fee of €20 per person.
When is the best time to see the Northern Lights in Lapland?
The Northern Lights season in Lapland typically runs from late August until early April. The best chances of seeing them are on clear, dark nights away from artificial lights. While sightings can never be guaranteed, Lapland offers excellent conditions for viewing the Aurora Borealis throughout the winter season.
Can you guarantee that I will see the Northern Lights?
The Northern Lights are a natural phenomenon, so sightings can never be guaranteed on a standard tour. However, if you choose our Northern Lights Guarantee experience, we guarantee that you will see the Aurora Borealis or receive your money back or free re-try. Our guides continuously monitor weather and aurora forecasts and do everything possible to give you the best chance of witnessing this unforgettable Arctic experience.
What if I have food allergies or dietary restrictions?
If your tour includes lunch, snacks, or refreshments, please let us know about any food allergies or dietary restrictions when making your booking. We will do our best to accommodate your needs and provide suitable alternatives whenever possible. To ensure we can make the necessary arrangements, it is important that we receive this information in advance.
