Before setting off, our guides will explain how to steer and control the sled and go through the safety instructions, so you feel ready for the adventure ahead.
The ride lasts approximately 45 minutes. Afterwards, you’ll get to know the huskies and hear about their daily lives, care, and training. Enjoy a warm drink and stories by the fire to round off your Arctic experience.

Itinerary
Meeting point At Maakuntakatu 31 Lapland Royal Adventures Office, or pick up.
We meet you at our office at Maakuntakatu 31. If you have ordered pick up, we will pick you up from your accommodation
Transfer
Transfer to the Husky farm by minivan or by bus. The transfer time is approximately 1 hour. Changing clothes.
Husky Ride 7,5km
Experience the self driven 5km Husky safari with your Husky team. Safari duration is about 45 minutes.
Introduction to Huskies life
Our Husky guides will tell you about raising the Huskies, how we train them and how their year cycle goes. You will learn very interesting facts about the life in the Husky farm all year around, while enjoying warm drinks and gingerbread cookies.
Transfer
Return transfer provided by bus, to our office in Rovaniemi city center after the activity. We thank you for the day and for your time!

Important information
- Important Information about the Husky Safari Husky rides can be physically demanding, and participants may be exposed to vibration and physical strain. For this reason, husky safaris are not recommended for pregnant women. The husky safari lasts approximately 45 minutes. Children ride in the same sled with adults (max. 2 adults + 2 children per sled). One participant drives the sled, while the other rides as a passenger. For safety reasons, the driver cannot be changed during the safari.

- No public transportation nearby (our own buses operate only according to the tour you have booked)
- Not recommended for pregnant travelers
- Not recommended for people with heart conditions
- If you have chosen the pick up service, we will notify you of the exact pickup time via email. If you have any questions about the pickup locations, feel free to contact us! Kindly wait outside at the agreed location for the guide to pick you up. You can also arrive directly at our meeting point: Lapland Royal Adventures Office, Maakuntakatu 31.
- If your pick-up address is more than 11 km from our office, we charge €50 per direction for transportation per way.
Proof of the child’s age must be provided upon request.
